Welcome to Global Haze

This website explores the natural day to day beauty of the planet we live on, and shows how photography can make us all explorers. The goal of this website is to prompt you to have fun by paying more attention to your day to day surroundings.

The pictures on this website are moments in time that remind me of another reality existing around all of us every day. When I first started taking photos as a hobby, I was struck by how much of my day to day suroundings I was not seeing. Photography, probably more than most endevors forces you to look at, and see your surroundings with more than a passing glance. Photography can teach each of us how to escape the tunnel vision of our busy lives and see the reality of life on planet Earth.

In the galleries listed below I will show groups of related pictures that I have taken in the couple of years I have been taking photos as a hobby. From time to time I will update the galleries with new pictures.

It has been a while since I have worked on this website as I have been very sick. I have had a cerebral haemorrhage and almost died. It has taken me a while to recover and get my life back together. What I said above seems even more important now.
